How Appt Helper monitors the U.S. Customs and Border Protection scheduling portal.
Appt Helper operates by programmatically checking the official U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Trusted Traveler Program (TTP) scheduling portal on behalf of our users. We do not use third-party aggregators, unofficial APIs, or crowd-sourced data. Every appointment alert we send is generated directly from the public availability shown on the official government scheduling system.
Our distributed scraping architecture continuously checks the availability calendar for all operational enrollment centers. When a cancellation occurs or new blocks of appointments are released, our system detects the change and dispatches alerts to matching users in milliseconds.
Appt Helper is an independent technology service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Government, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), or U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). We simply automate the manual process of checking the official website for cancellations. Users are always directed back to the official government portal (https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov) to securely log in and finalize their booking.
